Wowter schreef al een een stukje over het Ithaka rapport: “Ithaka’s 2006 Studies of Key Stakeholders in the Digital Transformation in Higher Education”.
Er is ook een uitgebreid (Engelstalig) commentaar op dit rapport verschenen van Steven Bell, bibliothecaris bij de Temple University. Hij schreef hierover in zijn blog ‘The question they forgot to ask’.
Steven vraagt zich in zijn commentaar af: “But why are we only considering the role of the academic library as gateway, archive and buyer?
